TV guide
Move around the full programme guide, and set reminders.
The TV guide#
The full TV guide shows every channel with its programmes laid out against time. Press Back while watching live TV to open it on the current channel at the current time.
Moving around the guide#
- ↑ ↓ move between channels; ← → move through time.
- FF / REW (or Page up / down) slide the time window further.
- ← from the channel column, or Back, steps out to the groups; Back again leaves the guide.
What OK does on a programme#
| On now | Watches the channel. |
| Already aired | Plays it from catch-up, if the channel has catch-up. |
| Still to come | Opens its menu: Remind me, Record, Record every showing. |
Hold OK on any programme to open its full menu: details, catch-up, restart, recording, reminders and opening it in another player.
Hold OK on a channel for channel options such as favourite, move, rename, hide, lock and Assign EPG (see Organising channels).
Where guide data comes from#
Programme information comes from your service's guide (XMLTV). If a channel shows "No information", its guide entry may be missing or not matched. Hold OK on the channel and choose Assign EPG to pick the right guide entry by hand.
How many days are kept, and how often the guide updates, are set under Settings › TV Guide.
Reminders#
Never miss the start of a programme.
- In the TV guide, find a programme that hasn't started yet.
- Press OK and choose Remind me.
Shortly before it starts, a pop-up appears over whatever you're watching. Choose Watch now to switch to it or Dismiss. Upcoming reminders are listed in My List; to cancel one, choose Remove reminder there or in the guide.
